It is our pleasure to announce that the 55th Annual Richmond Oktoberfest will be heading back to the Old Dominion Building at the Richmond Raceway Complex, 600 East Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23222.
Friday October 17th, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

SGTEV Hirschjäger Bavarian Dancers
The SGTEV Hirschjäger Dancers have performed traditional Bavarian Folk Dances for the Richmond Oktoberfest since 1969. Fun and educational!
Activities
Participate in the Stein Hoisting Competition or just watch the guys and girls Beer Stein Hoisting Contest. Don’t miss the fun, marvel at the strength and stamina of the contestants. The winner of each contest will receive a very special three liter beer stein. Entry fee $5.
Join der Bürgermeister in the Oktoberfest Parade each night! This is for all of die Kinder (adults and children). Line up at 6:50 for everyone each evening and around 4:00 for the Kinder Parade on Saturday. Look for the signs to know where to go (or better yet, ask der Bürgermeister).
Dance with the Oktoberfest Chicken!
And do the Bobsled!
The Kinder Korner program is designed for children to take part in age related activities during the Oktoberfest. The hours of operation are from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Friday, and 4:00 – 9:00 PM on Saturday. This is a designated area in the fest hall for them to be able to make crafts, have their face painted, and participate in table games. Our goal is to implement a safe area for children to actively participate. Adult volunteers will supervise the kids and guide them
through the activities.

Food and Drink Menus Are On Every Table and Prices Are Displayed at Stands

- A variety of German beer from three of the best-known German breweries – Warsteiner, Paulaner, and Bitburger – including Oktoberfest styles, Pilsners, Lagers, Hefe–Weisse, Märzens, Dunkels and non-alcoholic beers.
- German wines for your enjoyment.

Delicious food:
- Bratwurst, Knackwurst, Weisswurst (with all sausages hand-crafted by Usinger’s of Wisconsin), roast pork, and broiled chicken. Side dishes to include Sauerkraut, Potato Salad, and Red Cabbage.
- Our snack bar will have freshly made German potato pancakes, a variety of filled pretzels, hot dogs, french fries and more!
Cakes and Pastries:
The bakery, by Reinecker’s Bakery of Macedonia, Ohio, will offer a large selection of German tortes, pastries, and breads.
